Determined to become a successful filmmaker and Theatre Producer. This talented screenwriter has struggled to be taken seriously, and it's
finally paying off. With a hilarious hot new comedy under her belt to add to her roster of screenplays and two other projects in the lineup she is living up to the hype of becoming one of Hollywood's busiest
entertainers. Her diversity with film and theatre allows her to constantly work on quality projects. Her experience in theatre began with the off-Broadway play "What You Are About To See Is Real" and the recent
off-Broadway musical "Cole Minus 1", which is the music of the great Cole Porter and has staged managed the Off-Broadway play "Platanos & Collard Greens."
The daughter of a Colombian father and an African American mother, Orozco was born and raised in New York. Orozco, the youngest sibling of six brothers, has utilized the love and support that she gets from her
family as a motivation tool. "Having a family that loves and believes in you is important when your in a field like this" says Orozco. "And at the end of the day I have a group of people to laugh, cry, celebrate
or mourn with.
Constantly being referred to as outgoing, the overachieving Orozco was involved in tons of activities in junior high school, ranging from cheerleader, plays, talent shows, chorus and band. Following her fathers
musical pattern, she practiced playing the piano and flute from the age of nine. But Orozco wanted more than just being in front of the camera. "I wanted to have the power to make people laugh or cry. I wanted to
be the one who created the characters people love or hate" states Orozco. That is when she decided to take a more serious look at creating projects from behind the camera and her writing kicked in. Starting out
writing a short story that impressed a professor at Queensborough Community College, then later acquiring an academic scholarship to New York University where she picked up the mechanics that have enabled her to
be a great storyteller.
After attending NYU, where she majored in Film & Television and, she went on to study acting at The Lee Strasberg Institute, one of the countries leading acting institutes. In 1995 Orozco formed "ADITI PICTURES",
an independent production company that produces a wide range of projects. "I feel that a lot of great projects are overlooked because the talent happens to be a new writer. I am willing to take these projects and
assist the artist in developing and producing their material. I am an experienced writer who is in-house to help other writers and producers with projects that will sell. I think that's what every studio and
production company needs - a creative figure who knows the elements of a quality script." says Orozco.
